Enable Storage Sense
Enable the storage sense to save space. Storage sense is a great feature that will help you make more space on your computer. You can accomplish this by automatically getting rid of files you no longer need, such as temporary files and the contents of your recycle bin, you can even make more space by deleting the older version of your Windows 10 files. Definitely worth being included. in the performance category because the more space you clean, the slower your Windows 10 will be or we can say that it will be more responsive. Regardless, the storage detection option is disabled on your Windows 10 by default, so let’s show you how to enable it. Go to Windows settings, as always press Windows key + I on your keyboard, now go ahead and open the first menu which is System, now navigate to Storage sub-menu and just enable storage sense option. Windows 10 will now automatically clean up your junk files, so you can have that peace of mind.
A startup Apps is a program or application that runs automatically after your system has started normally. Previously it was managed from your task manager, and it’s still available there, but in Windows 10 it’s much easier than before, head to Windows settings, and for that you can press Windows key + I on your keyboard, from otherwise, you can go to the start menu and click on this settings icon. Anyway, once you there go to the applications menu, now navigate to the Start sub-menu and there you will see all the apps or programs that run in the background every time you have started your system. Background apps are useful only if you use them regularly, while running in the background. Minimized in the system tray, it can appear faster when you need them compared to other applications or programs in that case, or we can put it this way, the background applications are already started and waiting for your call. But note that you are also using your valuable system resources like ram, processing power etc. Which will have a great negative impact on Windows performance! So by disabling them from auto start, you can free up a lot of your system resources which means you can get more performance for your other applications that need it. Also, it will cause faster starts. So let’s go ahead and disable all applications or programs that you rarely or don’t use. I hope this tip will help you to speed up your system.
Clear Recycle bin
Reduce the limit of the recycle bin. Don’t even think it’s a simple thing, the recycle bin plays a huge role in the stability of your system as you are using the system drive storage or on which drive your Windows 10 was installed. Normally the default limit of the recycle bin would be 100 gigs and think that if you are the person who never cleans your recycle bin, all of your deleted files will remain in your recycle bin until you hit a hundred gigs. And all these 100 GB of storage are used from the system drive. You know what happens if your system drive is full or a little full, your windows will be slow or will not respond, it is a fact that if you want you can check it yourself. So this is another way to keep your C Drive always depleted. I hope you understand the point of limiting the data that your recycle bin can store. Let me show you how. Go to the desktop icon of your recycle bin, right click on it, now choose properties, now go to customize the size, as you can see, it is written in MB, so Enter 10000 or 15000, which will set your limit recycling bin in 10 or 15 GB. Now click apply.
Bloatware is simply an unwanted application or software included by the manufacturer when you buy a new computer. And this usually happens when you buy laptops, and in most cases they will only be available during a trial period, so many of them are rarely useful or a total waste. And the most disappointing fact is that it will take up some of our valuable storage as well, so let’s go ahead and remove all the unwanted bloatware. So go to settings, press Windows key + I on your keyboard and this time go to apps, now navigate to the Applications & Features sub-menu, now find the bloatware, once you find it, click uninstall, and do click again and that’s it. Now do this to any other bloatware. how to speed up your windows 10

To do this, look for the user account control in your search box near the start button. Now click on change user account control settings, which will take you to this window, now slide this bar all the way down to never notify, now click ok and just see warning popup one last time. Click OK to continue and there we go, no more warnings. And let me tell you, this particular step can boost your performance, like the other steps in the article, but it makes things seem a little faster. Just do it if you want.

Over the years windows have improved and changed dramatically. It can also boot fairly quickly. But when it comes to shutting down or restarting your modern Windows 10 computer it will take time. But if you accidentally used a Windows PC two decades ago, it can shut down as soon as you press its power button. It is because nowadays Windows has to wait a long time before quitting any program that is running. And sometimes Windows 10 even stops and waits until you force close the app. It could even be a pad where you have written something and forget to save and exit.

Now Click on to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, .DEFAULT, Control Panel, Desktop,
Click on Desktop Now right-click somewhere right side of the console and go to new string value and name it WaitToKillAppTimeOut Without space in-between and set the value to 2000.
