What’s New in Windows 10 20 H2 Update? This will be released in the second half of 2020. Probably around October time and just like with last year’s H2 2019 update and that’s with last year’s H2 update 19. the second semester update, so these are actually technically minor updates compared to the main update. so we’ve had the May 2020 update and the one coming out later this year will be a minor update. but it actually introduces some new eye features
The first thing is that when you install this update you will notice some changes in the user interface. but I’ll go back to those – the new Microsoft Edge is installed by default, it replaces the old Microsoft Edge which is a bit hidden and you get this new one. so it is an automatic installation as part of the upgrade to 20 h2.
as far as I know, there is no way to choose not to. so that’s the first thing I think people will see.
The second thing is these new theme-aware tiles so you can see that they no longer have a solid color, they all have a gray background that you see with the icons on the list, so if you are in dark mode these will be dark
so you have accent color turned on which also supports accent color and these look better, these are these types of transparent tiles, really look the ones that stick out now and they look really weird are the skype and office ones and then the ones although there is also one, but you can see these new ones from office look good, one looks really out of place, but those are the icons of the new look, some other new icons are also coming, but that’s the main thing, this new one appearance and feel the start menu on the right.
So what else has changed? We have a little change to the notification dialog and I can simulate that using a web notification tool, so I’ll show you the same.
So, here is the new look notification you see, we have the icon there because it should come from edge canary and the app title, it has the image and all the text that it had before and the icon is the new thing i think, but also you have the settings there so you can disable those notifications and you have the close button instead of the back button, which I think makes a bit more sense, you are dismissing the notification, so that’s the new look.
and the notification found with Windows 10 x I think looked pretty good, another change is around the alt tab.
previously, when you’re doing alternate tabbing, I can have the settings open and I have the edge browser open, but the edge browser has multiple tabs there. so currently on this machine it only shows me those two windows.
But when this feature is enabled which can happen here, you can see multiple border tabs when you select the alternative tab and have the preview option to choose the five most recent terms, most of the three or all, or just go back to the current behavior which is the standard window.
So, you can see there that i have different tabs in my border browser and can use alt tab to type between them. so the changes while we’re at home in the settings have tried to move a few more settings that I wouldn’t have used in the control panel.
In the past and here you have some of the details of the PC and you can also copy them to the clipboard. so it would be something that you would have added in the control panel and now you can do it directly here. there are many other fixes and things like that. but those are the main changes.
At 20 h2 so far I will update this as more changes come. but I think the alternate tab and start menu of the new look and new notifications are also very nice and make this a worthwhile improvement, at least you are also getting all the security fixes.

How to Install Windows 10 20H2
What’s New in Windows 10 20H2 Update, If you are already running version 2004 similar to the version 1909 deployment, the process of upgrading to a new feature update will be different depending on the version of Windows 10 installed on your PC.
