Veerame Vagai Soodum’ is an action thriller film directed by debutant director DB Saravanan and starring Vishal in Tamil. The film is being produced by Vishal through his own company, Vishal Film Factory.
The film stars Vishal opposite Dimple Hayati, Malayalam actor Baburaj as the villain and Yogibabu as the comedian. It also stars Marimuthu, Tulsi, Kavita Bharathi, the late RNR Manohar, Billy Murali, Raveena and KSG Venkatesh.
It is noteworthy that Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for Vishal for the eleventh time including this film. The film, tentatively titled Vishal 31, was officially titled ‘Veerame Vagai Soodum’ in August last year.
The first single of the film has been released for the last few weeks. Following this, Vishal announced on his Twitter page that the shooting of the film has been completed and the second single of the film sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja will be released soon.
The film was supposed to be released in December last year, but the release was postponed due to non-completion of filming.
Following this, it has been rumored that the film will be released on January 26 this year. Vishal’s film is currently in competition with Ajith’s, with the release of ‘Pooja’ starring Vishal during the release of ‘Kathi’ starring Vijay in 2014.
